General questions
What can I expect from a Rembrandt by Night Sip & Paint event?
Hard to put the whole experience into words, but since you asked:
You are welcome to arrive about 10 minutes early so you can settle in before we start with the actual painting starts. Once everyone is there, our host and art instructor welcome you and give just the right instructions to get going. Then it is roughly two hours of painting and having fun.
The art instructor and host are always walking around to give personal tips or a motivational word where needed. At the end, there is time to wander around, look at each other’s work, chat, and take photos. And yes, you take your painting home afterwards as well, it deserves above your bed!
Can I join a Rembrandt by Night night solo?
Yes, and you would not be the only one. We even keep a few spare tickets for people who want to come solo. Message us, and we will sort it out (even when a night looks sold out). Rembrandt by Night is about fun, stepping out of your comfort zone, human connection, and trying something new in a judgment-free room. Riding solo is a big part of that.
What is included in the price?
Everything you need for the Paint & Sip: art supplies, canvas, instructor, music, and a lot of fun. Plus, you take your masterpiece home afterward. Please note that drinks are not included, but you can bring anything you like!
Do I need to bring my own art supplies?
No, we provide everything you need, including an apron so your clothes stay clean.
Are food and drinks provided?
You are able to bring your own drinks. Food is another story: during regular public nights, we do not serve food, and you cannot order it on site. The night lasts about two hours, so eat beforehand if you get hungry easily. For private events, we can often arrange snacks or food depending on what you want.
Are there non-alcoholic options available?
Yes, non-alcoholic wine, homemade iced tea and (sparkling) water are always available. Want something very specific? Reach out and we will try to arrange it.

What if I can't make it on the date I have a ticket for?
If you cannot make your date, you can freely reschedule up to 5 days before the event.
Within 5 days you can change the names on the tickets so someone else can take your place.
Paint & Sip questions
Can I make a group reservation?
Yes. Option one: buy as many tickets as you need on our event calendar. Option two: book a private night just for your group, fill in the private events form and we will put something special together specifically for you!
What is the age limit for attending a Rembrandt by Night event?
Most of our guests are 18+ but we have welcome guests of all ages to our events. We typically ask the parents to decide for themselves whether their child will enjoy a festive creative setting. If you do want to consult then feel free to send us an email!
Which language is spoken during the event?
Our sip and paint events run mainly in English since we also welcome quite some international guests. Our hosts and instructors mostly also speak Swedish (and often more languages), so personal help in Swedish is never a problem, just ask.
Do I have to follow the theme of the day?
We are not the art police, paint whatever you like. Our instructor still gives personal advice even if you ignore the theme of the night. We also have plenty of other templates in the studio with instructions on the back if you want a different motif.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer cash refunds on public tickets. If you cannot make your date, you can freely reschedule up to 5 days before the event (so we still have a chance to resell). Within 5 days of the event, you can change the names on the tickets and gift the night to someone else. For private events:
- 100% refund if you cancel more than 3 weeks before start
- 50% refund if you cancel between 1, 3 weeks before start
- 0% refund if you cancel within 7 days of start
How does a neon painting look in the daylight
Just as fun in daylight, but it can look very different or surprisingly similar, depending on how you paint. We give you both neon and regular acrylic. Start with acrylic for the base, then finish details with neon so they pop under black light. How much of each you use is up to you, that is what decides the daylight look.
Can I bring my painting home directly after the event?
Absolutely, the paint usually dries quickly enough that you can take your masterpiece home the same night. Tip: bring a bag, or grab one of our sturdy Rembrandt shoppers on site if we have them in stock.
What is Rembrandt by Night?
At Rembrandt by Night, we host creative Paint & Sip nights centered on one idea: have fun. It is not about the perfect masterpiece, it is about trying something new, meeting people, and glowing under black lights. What started with a few sessions in Amsterdam has grown to nights across Europe. Stockholm is our Swedish home base: neon paint, zero art experience required.
